EDUCATION
Eduardo Cano Pleite began a 5-year program in Mechanical Engineering at Madrid’s University Carlos III. From 2010 to 2012 he continued his studies at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers (ENSAM Paris-Bordeaux) where he obtained his double degree in Mechanical Engineering, collaborating in his FYP with Lille’s Regional Universitary Hospital, and the Master IDI (the Engineer in an International Dimension), with the participation of INSEEC Bussiness School. Back in the University Carlos III, he studied the Master on Industrial Mechanics, in which he obtained the best student record award (2012-2013). His formation continued with a research stay in autumn 2014 at the Kyushu Institute of Technology (Japan), under the supervision of Prof. Yoshihide Mawatari and in summer 2015 at the ETH Zürich (Switzerland) under the supervision of Prof. Christoph Müller. Eduardo obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering in December 2016.

RESEARCH INTERESTS
Eduardo’s interests are mainly focused on CFD simulations of vibrated fluidized bed, studying its perfomance and comparing its results with experimental data.
