EDUCATION
María Izquierdo Barrientos started her mechanical engineering studies at Castilla-La Mancha University and obtained her degree at Carlos III University in 2009. She obtained her Master in Thermal Engineering at the University of Vigo in 2010 and her PhD in 2014 at the Department of Thermal and Fluids Engineering at Carlos III University. During her PhD she did a summer stay at the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering of the University of British Columbia (Canada).

PCM, thermal storage in fixed and fluidized beds, heat transfer, solar energy.
